Huntsville had the honor of welcoming Congressman Steve Womack and members of his team to our community today. During his visit, the Congressman met with school administrators, principals, coaches, parents, and members of the Huntsville Youth Council to hear firsthand about the opportunities and challenges facing our students.

He also spent time with Huntsville Water Utilities leadership and members of the Water Commission to discuss the federal funding secured for a new water tank and sewer expansion — critical infrastructure that will support future growth and improve service for our residents.

Mayor Dotson shared his appreciation for the Congressman’s continued support and his willingness to visit Huntsville, listen to local needs, and help move important projects forward.

We are grateful for the partnership and look forward to continued collaboration on behalf of the people of Huntsville.
